Lauren Choi is an Associate Portfolio Manager, Sector Team Lead, and Analyst within the Principal Asset Management equity team. In her role, she co-manages the SMID Equity Income strategy, is responsible for leading the global technology, media, and telecommunications team, and research coverage of the U.S. software and services industry. Lauren joined Principal in 2013 as an Investment Analyst and was promoted to Senior Investment Analyst in 2016. She has been in the investment industry since 2003. Previously, she was a Vice President in Equity Research at JP Morgan Securities covering software. Lauren received a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and a minor in computer science from Johns Hopkins University.
