Investment approach When selecting stocks for the portfolio we emphasize owning quality companies at a reasonable price. We define this as being a QARP style of investing. Our experience has demonstrated, over long periods of time, portfolios with an emphasis on high quality companies may deliver potentially superior results. Our style and process tends to lead to a quality tilt because we generally require a lower risk premium for high quality companies and larger risk premium for low quality companies than what the market requires.
