Julia Groenewold is an ESG Manager for the Principal Asset Management real estate ESG team. She is responsible for shaping the overall European ESG strategy for real estate and working with fund and asset managers to translate the overall strategy into fund and asset level strategies as well as supporting fund and asset managers to improve fund and asset ESG performance. Prepare ESG performance reports for investors, regulatory reports as well as provide information for ESG assessment frameworks (GRESB). Julia joined the firm in 2023. Prior to her current role, Julia served as a Sustainability Manager at PATRIZIA SE, where she had a similar role to her current one. She received a degree in Environmental Hazards and Risk from Brunel University and in Environmental Sciences from Justus- Liebig University.
