Jeffrey Mathews is a Managing Director & Head of Origination for the Principal Asset Management private infrastructure team. He is responsible for origination and structuring of opportunities across energy, power, digital, transport and social infrastructure. Jeff joined the firm in 2024. Prior to his current role, Jeff served as Managing Director at Barclays’ Energy, Power & Climate Technology investment banking group as well as earlier roles at BMO Capital Markets, Nomura and Scotiabank. He received a bachelor’s degree in business and psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and maintains FINRA Series 79, 63 and 52 licenses.
