Jon Curran, CFA - Portfolio Manager, Head of Investment Grade Credit  Jon Curran is an Investment Grade Credit Portfolio Manager for the Principal Asset Management fixed income team and leads Principal Fixed Income’s investment grade credit team. Jon joined the firm in 2022. Prior to his current role, Jon served as a portfolio manager at Aberdeen Investments (fka Standard Life Investments) for nearly 12 years, jointly overseeing a broad suite of global investment grade corporate bond strategies. In addition, he held credit research responsibilities covering U.S. banks and REITs. Jon has devoted over 25 years to fixed income investing at leading asset management firms, including Wellington Management Company where he began his investment career in 1999 providing primary coverage as a research analyst responsible for several sectors. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University. Jon has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
