John Friedl is a multi-sector Portfolio Manager for the Principal Asset Management fixed income team and the lead portfolio manager for the Core Fixed Income strategy. John joined WM Advisors in 1998 as an Investment Analyst, when he entered the industry, and was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2003. Principal Financial purchased WM Advisors at the end of 2006. He received a master’s degree in finance from Seattle University and a bachelor’s degree in communications and history from the University of Washington. John has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Seattle.
