Mark Scholz is a Director for Principal Asset Management’s real estate team. He is responsible for serving as a member of the portfolio management team for the Principal Enhanced Property Fund. Mark joined the firm in 1992. Prior to his current role, Mark served as an investment director of asset management at Principal Real Estate. Mark has 15 years of asset management experience throughout the United States, with most recent responsibility for the Washington, D.C., corridor and Florida. Mark has previous real estate experience with Merrill Lynch and Northwestern National Life Insurance. Mark received an MBA in finance from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the College of St. Thomas.
